Use results plot, graphs, derived values from one file in different existing results file

I was wondering if anyone knew it was possible to set up a "template" type file where there are multiple 2D, 1D, derived values and plots for one file and then import those plots into another file where the simulation has already been run.

I have recently added a lot of calculations and plots into a file and would like to update previous simulation with these new calculation and plots. I am hoping that I do not have to redo all of the plots and expressions in each of the existing files.

Any ideas or suggestions.
