Hello all,
My objective is to simulate optical absorbance, transmittance , reflectance of an array of Silicon nanowires. The nanowires are peiodic in-plane (in X-Y plane) and vertically aligned. The superstrate is air and the substrate is silicon. I have created a 2D model following the plasmonic wire grating model (which uses Floquet periodicity), distributed by COMSOL with the software. Using this model optical absorbance is calculated to be zero, which is not correct. I do not know whether the way I have set the excitation ports, applied magnetic-electric fields, assigned Floquet periodicity is correct! As far as machine goes I have 10 elements per wavelength. Can anyone, have a look at it and suggest corrections?
Thanks
Debika
