If there is anyone in this community look for employment at a small, high tech company in Oregon (Oregon Physics LLC), we have an open position for a suitable candidate.
Oregon Physics develops ion and electron optical products for surface science, FIB and electron optical systems. We have a growing demand for our existing ion source and electron gun products, and a number of exciting development programs for next generation ion and electron optical products.
We're seeking a full-time scientist or engineer for projects involving new product development, as well as existing product support. Responsibilities will include:
- Multi-physics modeling using the COMSOL multi-physics software.
- Thermal, electromagnetic and plasma COMSOL model building and assisting with
COMSOL model analysis.
- Interacting with other engineers and scientists to aid with product development and problem
solving.
- Design, setup and performance of laboratory experiments.
- Report writing.
