Hi
I have been working on a 3D (AC/DC) model of a insulator, and I am trying to verify the uniform potential and field distribution along the insulator surface. I apply 33Kv voltage at HV end and other end set as ground potential (zero).
In the result of electric filed distribution over the surface of the insulator not in proper distribution.
That's Electric field round the HV end shows more or less zero field. why? I attach my model image.
In this image (result) both HV and ground end has same field, why/
any one help me.
