Hi, I am a COMSOL beginner.
I want to see the interference between two waveguides.
It is simple. There are two waveguides. And laser inputs are on the end of the waveguides.
So I need two inputs.
By using a boundary mode analysis I found the field on the first input face.
But I don't know how to set another input...
In my case I set two inputs as port 1 and 2 in the boundary setting tab. And I set the wave excitation at each port.
I think result will be symmetric, right?
But the field is not symmetry as you can see.(fig.2)
Please help me.
Or I think it can be solved by using periodic boundary condition.
Because it is symmetric between port 1 and port 2.
It will be more easier I think.
I can't attach the original file because of the file size:(
So I attach a image file. (fig.1) As you can see, my problem is that I can't set the right input.
(left input and right input condition are same!)
Thank you!
