Hello
I am a beginner in comsol and I want to calculate by geometry factor using the AC / DC module, of a cylinder with 70mm diameter and 20mm height. This cylinder contains eight electrodes (similar to points), numbered from 1 to8, each placed at 45degree. The edges of the cylinder are insulated, and the inner is a conductor of known resistivity.
So the idea and inject current between two electrodes electrode 1 and 4) and measure the potential difference between the other two electrodes (2 and 3). By Ohm's Law, we can deduce 8 resistance values, and obtain a mean resistance, which is related to the resistivity by geometry factor.
I want to know how to impose a current between two points, and have the resistance value.
