Microfluidic Fluid-Structure Interaction

Hi, Everyone! I am fairly new to COMSOL, and during the process of learning fluid-structure interaction problem using the model provided by COMSOL 4.2a for fluid-structure interaction, I have encountered some problems. The model is a simple rectangular channel in 2D with a elastic post in the path of the channel, as attached below.
The problem that I have been encountering is when I changed certain parameters of the model. Instead of using time-dependent and coordinate-dependent velocity for inlet flow, I used pressure, no viscous stress, of 10 Pa. Also, I made the height of the elastic post very close to the height of the fluid channel, ie making the height of the post to 95um given that the preset height of the fluid channel is 100um.
When I tried to run the model under these two modifications, the time dependent solver could not find consistent initial values with having many warnings about inverted mesh.
So my question is
1) Is it even possible to simulate the model under these modifications
2) If it's possible to get the solution for this modification, what steps, like in meshing, that I need to take to get the right solution?
Thank you so much!!
