Hi,
I'm using the 'Acoustic-Solid Interaction, Transient' interface from the acoustics module to investigate pressure and shear waves induced in a metal structure, caused by sound waves in water that fills the structure. So far, I'm not getting the results I expect, despite using mesh and time step parameters consistent with the recommendations in the Acoustics Module documentation. My question is, do I also need to include the 'Elastic Waves' interface to model the pressure and shear waves in the metal, or should this work with just the 'Acoustic-Solid Interaction, Transient' interface?
Thanks,
Jim.
