Dear all,
I am simulating fiber modes using COMSOL in conjunction with MATLAB. After simulating the modes, I extract the modes (Ex,Ey,Ez,Hx,Hy,Hz) with the intent to calculate the overlap between the different combinations of modes. The solutions as well as the x and y axis (I am doing 2D simulations) are arranged after the mesh grid that COMSOL defines, which makes the overlap integrals a bit tricky to evaluate. Is there a way to interpolate the fields over to an already defined axis.
Cheers,
Irnis
