Electroanalysis - impedance

I have tried to browse through documentation and exemplary models to find out what "Electroanalytical Butler-Volmer" kinetics means in terms of concentration polarization. There is no ambiguity if the electrode is in equilibrium potential, but if the bias potential of the electrode is not zero, the steady-state surface concentrations naturally are different from the equilibrium ones. I suppose I have to use "Concentration dependent kinetics". I tried that, but the results were nonsense; apparently that was not the correct way of doing it.

Hence, my question is: Does the "Electroanalytical Butler-Volmer" kinetics take implicitly into account the concentration polarization due to the dc bias potential of the electrode? If not, do I have to include a transport node in my model in order to solve the surface concentrations first? This question is relevant to cyclic voltammetry simulation as well.
