I am trying to model the electromechanical response of a comb drive that is attached to a spring. However, every time that I try to simulate I get the following error:
Failed to find a solution.
In segregated group 3:
Very ill-conditioned preconditioner.
The relative residual is more than 1000 times larger than the relative tolerance.
Returned solution is not converged.
After looking through the forums I know that this error usually has to do with not using a large enough mesh. However, I get the same error regardless of how much I increase the predefined mesh sizes. Anyone have an idea of what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance
