I want to simulate the temperature distribution within a cable's cross-section.
Three phase currents with 120 phase shift are applied to this cable.
The physics i use is heat transfer in solid, I add heat source to each phase of the conductor like:
(Jmax*sin(omega*t+delta1))^2*resistivity(1+alpha(T-Tref))
Because of the resistivity of the copper conductor is temperature dependent.
Based the experiment, the cable conductor temperature may reach 65 degree C after 17000s,but the simulation result shows not.
Really wander why it is not right,thanks!!!
