Measured refractive index profile import to COMSOL

Hi, I have measured some fibers refractive index data and I want to analysis them in the COMSOL. I know use the RF module can solve the modes and I need to set the index either a single value or expression. However, I am not sure how can I import the binary(ASCII) data?

Plus, the RF module solve the eigenmode, can it provide LP approximation?
