As the subject states, I am trying to solve two modules simultaneously. The model is of two electrodes with a solution above them.
One module is a partial differential equation in place of electrostatics to simulate an electric field being generated by 2 electrodes and the second is heat transfer via conduction in the solution on top of the electrodes. The problem is that the voltage applied is the source of heat generation so the second module requires it but at the same time, variables such as conductivity and permittivity are temperature dependent.
I have tried solving them together using an initial Temperature but the program results in a failure almost immediately due not being able to solve for variables such as voltage.
Any advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.
