I am quite new in Comsol. I have been doing some simulations in optics with Comsol. I was interested in observing the interaction of a small particle sitting on the interface of two layers, maybe air and a substrate while a plane field is incident on it. The field in the input plane boundary can be described and the problem is solved.
Due to my limited knowledge on the software, problem arises when the field is non-planar, as I could not find any way to import an arbitrary complex filed into the input boundary. The required field can be computed in a matrix form, matching the grids in the input plane boundary.
