Face number assignment when applying a potential

Hi, I was wondering whether someone can help me. I have made a 3d wire mesh in comsol, Would it be possible to select on all the inside faces of the wire without manually clicking them all so that a potential can be applied to each face? It is not clear how comsol assigns numbers to each element in the model. Does anyone know how Comsol is doing this?
