I am trying to simulate a stirling engine cycle and my goal is to plot its pressure and volume diagram and possibly its temperature and entropy diagram. I've explored the website and saw this paper from the Milan Conference in 2009 http://www.comsol.com/papers/7113/ It seems not too difficult but I'm just beginning to learn. I've made a model but where it has a displacer in the middle and a piston on top (attached). I need heat the air in the bottom of the engine that will push the displacer up and the piston up then down. How would I go on doing this?
