Hi, i'm designing an induction heating system applied for an FDM (Fused deposition modeling) extruder for my final proyect. I started using a ferritic stainless steel (430), which has a relative permeability of 850, to produce the heat and got good results (MAX T = 279ºC at 120s). However, when i used other materials with a similar permeability, such as Nickel (600) or even higher permeability, such as iron (4000) the was much less effective (Max T = 69.9 for Nickel and 79 for the same time). The simulation's result with the stainless steel seems to be anormal
am I doing something wrong or forgeting something or its just a failure of the program .
I attach some pictures of the different results
