I am simulating plane wave in a cube with using two ports and periodic b.c. The solution is fine when I use a cube with 1 mm and for any dimension above that, when I go to micro meter I get the error:
Failed to find a solution.
The relative error is greater than the relative tolerance.
Returned solution is not converged.
I tried to find exactly for what dimension does the problem appears and I noticed that for dimensions between 70 um and 10um the solution starts to get blurry and for 10 um the error appears.
How can I simulate with smaller scales? I need to make simulations in the nanometer scale!
