Dear all,
I am doing an eigenfrequency analysis of a free thin layer (0.5x21cm) using the Structural Mechanics Module 4.0. I am working in the physics of solid volume with a very fine mesh (maximum elelemnt size=170 micron).
Even if Comsol calculates the solution, there is this Warning:
The relative residual is greater than the relative tolerance.
What does it mean?
I have increased the thickness (5 cm), but I still have this warning. I have also tried to increase the relative tolerance but the problem still exists. Increasing gradually the relative tolerance (even if it doesn't make sense...), then another warnig appears:
The residual error is greater than the relative tolerance.
Could someone tell me how to solve this problem?
Many thanks.
Ramona
