Hi,
I am starting to use the plasma module and I am currently having a look at the DC discharge example (www.comsol.com/showroom/documentation/model/8640/).
During the model set up the value of the energy of the electron generated by secondary emission due to ion bombardment of the cathode is set to
dc.de_4-2*Wf
The 2*Wf term is clear, what is dc.de_4? I managed to understand that it is an energy loss and that there are also variables called dc.de_1 to dc.de_5 but how (and where) are these calculated? Physically dc.de_4 should be the energy gained by the ions falling through the cathode sheath by why are there 5 dc.de varaibles?
Does a nomenclature of all the comsol variables exists?
Thanks a lot
Michele
