Greetings,
I have been conducting simulations using the RF model for 2D boundary analysis of optical waveguides. I have noticed that for some structures I have some kind of resonance from the outer boundaries of my model. For example a TM mode will experience some TE interference effecting my analysis.
I would like to fet rid of these. I am using PMC for TM mode at boundary and PEC for TE modes. I have been told I can make use of PMC or cylindrical Scattering conditions. I am not sure how to apply these to the model.
Can anyone help?
Many thanks,
Susan
