Dear all
I am modeling a hollow sphere of Pyrex. I am interested on the temperature dependence of the frequencies. To veriify the simulation i started with a conventional eiguenfreqeuncy simulations. After that i acquired the Material Library that includes the thermal behavior of many many material. In the study i added a parametric sweep of the material temeprature and i get the change on frequency for each eigenfequency. I am interested on two resonance mode, that would be like Wine glass mode, The first mode has 4 node (pint of 0 displacement), and the second mode has 8 nodes. The 4-node parametric weep woks very well, however the 8-node simulations is weird. The frequency changes as i expected from 220K to 290K, stating to this frequency the mode shape change completely to a kind of antisymmetric mode, could somebody guess what is going on_
Thanks
