Hi, I'm new to COMSOL so please excuse me if my questions seem weird.
I'm trying to simulate deicing method used on airplane wings. Right now I'm going for the most simple approach and geometry. So what I have is the following: A 3-D plate that had a section that acts as a heat source. Then I have fluid flow above it that provides cold air to the plate. I want to simulate that scenario.
So I've been able to set up properly and obtain solution. My problem however, is that on the surface temperature profile, the heated surface doesn't seem to have high amount of temperature increase as expected. I've attached my file, please let me know if someone can identify why 15k q isn't increasing the temperature to around 300 K and the back should be above 273 kelvin.
