Hi,
I modified a model of Mie scattering off gold plasmonic nanopartical to simulate the gold nanoshell structure I found on comsol forum.
I just add a sphere inside the original particle and built a shell structure.
However, the scattering curve of this model turned to be always below zero, which is not physical.
Does anybody have ever met this problem?
In the picture I upload, the red curve is the scattering, and the blue one is the absorbency, and the green line is the extinction, which is the sum of scattering and absorbency.
