creating a coordinate system in the matlab console

Hello everyone,

is there a specific function for drawing a coordinate system over the Matlab LiveLink in the Matlab console?
I'm not yet familiar with all the functions concerning the LiveLink.

My aim is to first create a coordinate system in an existing geometry and then read out a position in polar coordinates, i.e. I'm only interested in the radius and the angle of a position.
